Hey, new parents I know you’re super excited for a photoshoot of your newly arrived bundle of joy. Here are some of the most FAQs I often receive before a newborn session. So, here I have summarized some of them for you to have an in-depth idea and easy to read information quickly about the session. This may will help you to have an overview of what to expect during and after the shoot and what are the things are included in the packages we offer.
If you have any further queries, please feel free to contact us via call or text. We will happy to help you.

1. WHEN IS THE IDEAL TIME TO HAVE A NEWBORN SESSION?

The ideal time to have a photoshoot for your little one is 2nd and the 3rd week from the day of birth. During this time, your baby remains asleep still has the “curl”, which simply means her arms and legs still curl up easily and holds the poses given. The newborn shoot goes amazing if the baby is in deep sleep. After that newborns grow faster and will stretch out more. Don’t worry if your baby is now more then 3 weeks, you can still get stunning images. but the ultimate time is during the first three weeks. However typical newborn poses most likely won’t be possible. There are other ways advantages to photographing a slightly older baby and your images will be equally as beautiful.

2. WHEN SHOULD I BOOK MY NEWBORN SESSION?
It’s never too early to book! Newborn sessions should be booked during your pregnancy, the earlier the better as we’re usually booked months out. We add a tentative date around your due date onto our calendar upon booking. Once baby arrives, you will then contact me to schedule your session. That means if the baby comes early or late your baby is guaranteed a spot on our calendar.

3. My Baby Is Already Here! Can I Still Do A Newborn Session? Is It Too Late Too Late To Schedule?
Yes! Occasionally, we do have last minute availability, there may be spots available at short notice. We’re always happy to photograph older newborns with the understanding that it may not be possible to achieve pose the newborn in the same poses as a younger newborn since older newborns tend to be more alert and less flexible.

4. HOW LONG WILL THE NEWBORN SESSION LAST?

The newborn session normally lasts around 1.5 to 3 hour depending on package you choose. Though it totally depends on the baby’s mood and co-operation. So if she doesn’t want to sleep or is a bit cranky and you will need to attend to his/her needs. We I firmly believe anything over 3 hours is just too long, too long for a baby and too long for exhausted parents. And if the shoot is not yet complete we shall allot another date for the rest of the session. We will make this decision together as it costs you some extra charges.

5. What Should I Pay Attention To Prior To The Session? How Do I Prepare?

There are several little things to pay attention to before I arrive such as, please do not feed your little one before I have arrived and am setting up, otherwise she/he will fall asleep before and it might be hard to settle her down again when we are ready to shoot.

Similarly, please do not dress him/her in anything that needs to be pulled over her head, otherwise, she/he will wake up when we try to undress her.
Newborn photography is new thing for India and sometimes grandparents and other family members are in worry about baby’s safety. I would like to admit that I have years of experience in this field and we know how to take care of your little baby. We will need freedom and privacy in the shoot room to get the desired results.

6. WHAT KIND OF PROPS/EQUIPMENT WILL YOU PROVIDE?

I will provide all the necessary equipment such as backdrop stand, fabrics to use as backdrops, wraps, hats, furr, much more. These are for the basic set up. Whenever I find a new prop to use in my sessions, I might exchange one of those basic props with a new one as I do not wish to use the same props for all of my shoots. That way you can rest assured that your image will be unique.

7. How Long After The Session Can We Expect The Images?
You will receive the high res images in a minimum 45 days after you submit your final selection. This depends on the amount of images and when the session is held when you are on our waitlist.

8. WHAT ARE YOUR TERMS AND CONDITIONS?
